About me

I am currently working on scholarly open access publishing, I am in charge of the open access journals publishing service of the University of Bologna: AlmaDL Journals.
I spend my spare time supporting and promoting “open access” in a wider sense (to science, knowledge, source code, informations etc), gaming and wasting the remaining time.

I studied history, whilst being always interested on computer science and technology; it is from these latter passions that – among others – I managed to get a job.

I also should improve my English skills: please forgive my poor language.

• Riviste OA is a wiki about the use of Open Journal Systems (along with some unexpressed ambitions and much sense of loneliness: the initial aim was to cover Open Access publishing in general)
• slides that sometimes I prepare (but mostly forget to share)
• the responsive and customizable theme for OJS 2 (in Italian, but the readme is in English)

This personal website is meant not to leave thoughts and notes abandoned in my hard disk. But there is more.
This very website is actually a way of learning something new: it is build with Hugo, a static website generator that I believe will allow me to experiment a bit (therefore this website is meant as a work in progress).
